About Me

Hi, I'm Aaron Falabella.
I am a data analyst currently living in Lakewood, Colorado. Before 2023 I had been living in Houston, Texas for the majority of my life.
I am passionate about creating more efficient processes and clean displays of data; to assist in making better inferences and solving problems or questions related to the data.

I've been named a problem solver by my previous employers, due to my compulsory drive towards finding solutions to problems soon after they present themselves.

I've been labelled as an effective communicator, and I've received numerous awards and recommendations from both customers and colleagues, for my detailed documentation and explanations of processes. I have over 6.5 years of experience in customer service, 5.5 years of experience with data analytics, and excellent phone and email communication skills. I have been involved in training and organizing trainings for 25 new employees throughout my career.
Fun Fact: There is a rare breed of miniature horses which share the name Falabella. Unfortunately, I've never been graced by their presence though. In case you're interested in seeing one ...

My Work And Experience Summary
I am a former Operations Business Intelligence Analyst for UDR Inc., and I worked with a small team of analysts and IT to manage all of the data and dashboards within the company. I handled many aspects of dashboard management, database management, bonuses for teams within the company, AD groups and accesses for employees, documentation, reporting, training, and other ad hoc analyses to determine whether new ideas within the company would be fruitful. Due to my drive to automate processes and quickly solve problems, I was able to assist the company in earning over $1.1 million in revenue and free up over 110 working hours across the team each month. I was also commended by senior leadership on my ability to overhaul and reconstruct the processes for verifying data in multiple company wide bonus programs. By overhauling these processes there were fewer inaccuracies in payouts amongst the teams, and senior leadership trusted the processes more.
In my previous employments before UDR Inc., I was involved in the analysis of oil and gas pipelines to report on their safety, and in prior roles I was involved in more customer-oriented services. I was able to strengthen my interpersonal communication, leadership, training, and problem solving skills through the experiences and challenges that presented themselves in these positions.
Currently, I am interested in continuing to develop my visualization based data analytics skills, so that I can continue to make improvements in my efficiency of data reporting with PowerBI, which will lead to better inferences and knowledge gained from the data.
I would love to continue enhancing these skills with a company that shares similar values as I do, with an innovative and enriching work culture. If my skillset is something that your company is in need of, then please feel free to reach out to me on Linkedln, or by the phone and email address provided in my resume!
My Data Analysis Projects
In the four projects below, I used multiple technologies such as Python (Jupyter Notebook and Visual Studio Code), MySQL, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Notepad++. These technologies were used to gather, clean, organize, and visualize the data sets. Please click on a project below that you are interested in viewing, if you would like to see a more in depth description and documentation of the processes that I worked through to achieve the final results.
